Detroit Community Challenge

With support from the Knight Foundation, CEOs for Cities is convening experts from across the country to tackle the ambition of making a robust public life a reality.  Informed by the Knight Foundation’s Soul of the Community findings, the discussion will result in specific recommendations for urban leaders to amplify the drivers of community attachment the Soul Poll has uncovered – social offerings, openness, and aesthetics – and wrestle with the question of whether those drivers can also drive a contemporary version of “public life.”
